Purpose
PMGuru Learn teaches AI as a practical tool, not a substitute for thinking, ethics, or accountability. This policy applies to all learners, parents or guardians supporting minor learners, and instructors using AI features within our programs.
Acceptable use
You may use AI tools to:
- Brainstorm, outline, and draft work that you then verify, revise, and take responsibility for.
- Explore explanations of concepts and compare approaches.
- Generate practice examples using fictional or approved sample data, not real people’s private information.
- Improve clarity, structure, and accessibility of your own writing when disclosure rules are followed.
Verify before you submit
AI systems can be wrong, biased, or fabricated (including fake citations). You must fact-check claims, validate sources, and ensure outputs meet assignment requirements before submission.
Instructors grade judgment, evidence, and process, not polished but unverified AI output.
Disclosure
When an assignment requires it, you must clearly disclose what AI tools you used, how you used them, and what you changed afterward. Undisclosed AI assistance may be treated as academic dishonesty under our Terms of Service.
Privacy in prompts
Do not enter passwords, government IDs, full contact details of real individuals, confidential employer data, or other sensitive personal information into third-party AI tools unless explicitly permitted for a controlled exercise with sample data.
Follow course-specific data and privacy notes in labs and Project Studio charters.
Academic integrity
Submitting AI-generated work as solely your own original analysis, copying rubric answers without understanding, or bypassing learning objectives violates program standards. Instructors may use rubrics, interviews, prompt logs, and revision history to assess authentic work.
Minors and parental consent
Where parent consent is recorded in the LMS, guardians acknowledge that minor learners will follow this policy and course disclosure rules. Parents should supervise tool use appropriate to the learner’s age and local law.
How PMGuru Learn handles AI-related data
We do not sell learner submissions for AI model training. See our Privacy Policy for how coursework and logs are stored and who can access them.
Enforcement
Violations may result in resubmission requirements, grade penalties, removal from a cohort, or account suspension. Serious or repeated violations may be referred under our Terms of Service.
